Deputies logged 25 incidents, including the following:
Theft: A necklace and video game were reported missing from a home on County Road I, Oconto Falls.
Criminal Damage: A garage door on Gohr Road, Sobieski, was damaged in an attempted break-in.
Theft: A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle on Yurek Road, Pulaski.
Agency Assist: Authorities searched Canoe Lane in Suring while assisting the Neenah Police Department with an attempt to locate a missing male. The man last had contact with his family on Aug. 8.
Aug. 11
Deputies logged 26 incidents, including the following:
Criminal Damage: Bike tires were slashed and truck tires were damaged overnight on County Road I in Oconto Falls.
Criminal Damage: Authorities investigated property damage on Maple Lane in Oconto Falls. Someone ran through a fence into the swamp, where there were signs of camping. The vehicle used was registered to an owner whose vehicle was reported stolen on Aug. 9.
Attempt to Locate: Authorities assisted in an attempt to locate a suicidal female on County Road F in Lakewood.
Harassment: Authorities investigated a report of harassment on Section 4 Lane in Mountain.
Aug. 10
Deputies logged 24 incidents, including the following:
Accident: Authorities investigated a report of two vehicles in a minor accident on state Highway 22 in Lena.
Suspicious: Authorities investigated a report of two vehicles parked in the parking lot of City Park, Oconto, at 2:55 a.m.
Citizen Assist: Authorities assisted a female on a walk on state Highway 22, east of County Road J in Oconto. A male driver had been following her in a vehicle.
Suspicious: Authorities investigated the report of two males parked in a truck at state Highway 32 and 64 Quick Mart in Mountain after a worker overheard the males talking about how many security cameras were at the location.
Aug. 9
Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following:
Theft: Authorities investigated the theft of 15 to 20 bales of hay from a trailer on state Highway 64 in Pound.
Theft: Authorities investigated the report of a vehicle taken overnight from the state Highway 22 and 32 park and ride in Gillett.
Juvenile: Authorities assisted with a 13-year-old who was out of control and making suicidal comments on Old 41 in Oconto.
Disturbance: Authorities investigated a report of a male on East Nier Lane in Mountain who was out of control and intoxicated.
Aug. 8
Deputies logged 43 incidents, including the following:
Accident: Authorities investigated a one-car accident on County Road W in Underhill. The driver reported she looked down to retrieve her cell phone, hit the gravel and was unable to regain control. Her vehicle went into the ditch and overturned.
Accident: Authorities investigated the report of a vehicle on County Road Y south of County Park 2 in Oconto that struck a deer.
Suspicious: Authorities investigated the report of people taking items from a home on Timber Haven Drive, Little Suamico, that is scheduled for sheriff’s auction.
Agency Assist: Authorities assisted Marinette County with the search of a missing 87-year-old female from the Thunder Lake, Caldron Falls area.
Aug. 7
Deputies logged 27 incidents, including the following:
Accident: Authorities investigated a motorcycle accident at the Abrams Shell. The motorcycle was cut off by a dark green car that pulled out in front of the bike, causing the motorcycle driver to lay her bike down to avoid a collision. The driver stopped to report that she never saw the motorcycle, then left the scene.
Accident: Authorities investigated an accident on state Highway 64, Mountain. A female driver reported swerving to miss a deer, and her vehicle hit the gravel and entered the ditch.
Suspicious: Authorities investigated a report of people coming and going at an old cheese factory, which has been condemned on County Road C, Oconto Falls. Most of the activity is in the middle of the night.
Burglary: Authorities investigated a forced entry at a cabin and out-buildings on Groh Lane in Mountain. Someone forced open a window.
Suspicious: Authorities investigated a report of someone with a truck with a trailer removing items from a home on South Chase Road in Pulaski.
Aug. 6
Deputies logged 31 incidents, including the following:
Missing Person: Authorities assisted in finding a 75-year-old Townsend female with dementia whose vehicle was found in the ditch on state Highway 64 one mile east of the Oconto County line.
Criminal Damage: The Oconto County Highway Department reported vandals spray-painted a dump truck at County Road A and J in Lena.
Wanted Person: Authorities met Brown County sheriff’s deputies on U.S. Highway 41-141 to transport a person to the Oconto County Jail.
Animal Problem: Authorities assisted in detaining a German shepherd that was running on state Highway 32 in Oconto Falls. The dog’s owner was notified.
Accident: Authorities investigated a motorcycle accident on Main Street in Abrams. The motorcycle was southbound when it overturned, causing the driver to fall off, as the bike continued into the ditch. The accident might have been caused by a wheel lock-up.
Aug. 5
Deputies logged 27 incidents, including the following:
Disturbance: Authorities investigated the report of a male on County Road I, Lena, who was beaten by his brothers.
Accident: Authorities investigated a report of a driver who fell asleep at the wheel, crossed into oncoming traffic, left the road and struck a tree on state Highway 32/64 in Mountain.
Alarm: Authorities investigated a alarm call at a home on Frog Pond Road in Oconto. The family room glass door had been broken, but nothing appeared to be missing.
Criminal Damage: Authorities investigated damage to a storage unit on state Highway 32, Oconto Falls.
Suspicious: Authorities investigated a call from Peterson Ford Mercury in Oconto Falls that a lock box was open on a car. The keys were still in the box.
