Oconto Falls Police Department

A man lying on the grass at Caldwell Avenue and North Washington Street was taken into custody on a warrant violation Aug. 15. A 33-year-old female from Oconto Falls was arrested for disorderly conduct Aug. 15 following a domestic disturbance involving a 36-year-old male from Oconto Falls. A Schwinn bike valued at $25 was reported missing Aug. 16 from North Main Street. Peterson Ford, 300 N. Main St., reported three vehicles on its used car lot were scratched Aug. 23. Damage was estimated at $1,500. On Aug. 26, Peterson Ford reported additional vehicles were scratched. A vehicle driven by a 77-year-old female sustained severe damage Aug. 24 after it struck an ice freezer and building at Riverview Quik Mart, 418 N. Main St. The woman was not injured. A 65-year-old male from Suring was cited for failure to yield right of way Aug. 25 when the vehicle he was driving pulled away from a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old male from Oconto Falls, making a left turn. The accident occurred at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Columbia Street. The Suring man and a 67-year-old female passenger sought their own treatment for minor injuries.
