A sentencing hearing was held for Tasha M. Carter, 24, Pulaski, on charges of battery to law enforcement officers, firefighters or commission wardens, which occurred Sept. 27, 2013, in Chase. She was sentenced to 13 months incarceration and three years extended supervision with the conditions of no contact with the victim or family and absolute sobriety. The court dismissed the charges of resisting an officer-cause great bodily harm and disorderly conduct.
Leon F. Wychesit, 48, Gillett, pleaded no contest to a felony charge of second degree recklessly endangering safety and five misdemeanor charges on May 4 in Gillett. Judgment was withheld for three years, with the conditions Wychesit stay out of trouble, maintain absolute sobriety and not use firearms for one year. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail on a misdemeanor charge.
Marsha L. Redmon, 39, Oconto, pleaded no contest to charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methamphetamine on July 7 in Little River. Charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and precursors and possession methamphetamine waste were read in. A sentencing hearing is Oct. 31.
Proceedings from Sept. 2
A final pretrial and motion hearing was held for Shawn L. Paholke, 34, Suring, on 12 felony charges, second degree reckless injury, two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of causing mental harm to child, child abuse-recklessly causing harm, four counts of neglecting a child, first degree reckless injury, first degree recklessly endangering safety, which all allegedly occurred from July 2012 to May 2013. A cash bond of $175,000 continues. A continued motion hearing is Sept. 23.
A initial appearance was held for Dylan T. Williquette, 20, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of strangulation and suffocation and a misdemeanor charge Aug. 30 in Oconto Falls. The court set a$10,000 signature bond. A continued initial appearance is Sept. 11.
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Douglas G. Winans, 23, Green Bay, on a misdemeanor and one felony charge of possession of THC second offense Feb. 21 in Pensaukee. A $200 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Sept 11.
A status conference, plea and sentencing hearing was held for Cody J. Meyer, 26, Oconto Falls. He pleaded no contest to felony charges of possession of THC, second subsequent offense, and a misdemeanor charge, which occurred Feb. 16 in Oconto Falls. He was sentenced to three years probation concurrent to Forest County. Court costs and fees totaling $518 are to be paid during probation. He is to maintain absolute sobriety and complete assessments and follow up. The misdemeanor charge was dismissed.
Morning Star J. Skenandore, 32, Milwaukee, pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor charge and one felony charge of possession of drugs, second subsequent offense, on May 8 in the town of Gillett. The court revoked her $6,000 cash bond. A sentencing hearing is Oct. 15.
