A plea hearing was held for Paul W. Rugg, 20, Oconto, on a felony charge of burglary to a building or a dwelling place, party to a crime. Misdemeanor charges were read in. He pleaded no contest to theft, movable property, which allegedly occurred Aug. 28 in Oconto. A $5,000 signature bond continues. Sentencing will be held March 3.
A plea hearing was held for Bryan J. Krachtt, 31, Gillett, on felony charges of maintaining a drug traffic place. One misdemeanor charge was dismissed. He pleaded no contest to possession of THC, second-plus offense, which allegedly occurred Aug. 5 in the town of Gillett. A $2,000 cash bond continues. A sentencing will be held March 9.
A waiver preliminary hearing/arraignment was held for Brian J. Vankauwenberg, 29, Abrams. He pleaded not guilty on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver THC and to misdemeanor charges, from Nov. 26 in Abrams. The $2,500 signature bond continues. A pre-trial conference will be held March 12.
A preliminary hearing was held for Kristine M. Agamaite, 37, Oconto Falls, on felony charges of manufacture with intent to deliver THC, distribution to minors, possession of narcotic drugs and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Dec. 21 in Oconto Falls. The $10,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment/status conference will be held Jan. 15.
An arraignment was held for Adam J. Albert, 34, Oconto. He pleaded not guilty on a felony charge of second-degree sexual assault/sex organ injury and three misdemeanors, which allegedly occurred Nov. 22 in Oconto. A $5,000 cash bond continues. A status conference will be held Jan. 15.
Jan. 7
A plea negotiation was held for Jamie L. Delebreau, 20, Rhinelander. She pleaded guilty to six of 13 counts of conspiracy to commit possession with the intent to distribute schedule 4 narcotics, and non-narcotic drugs, party to a crime, which allegedly occurred May 30, 2013, in Oconto. Oneida, Vilas, and Forest counties have consolidated their case with Oconto County. A $25,000 cash bond was revoked by the court. A sentencing will be held Feb. 27.
A final pre-trial/plea hearing was held for Lyle W. Hennricks, 47, West Allis. He pleaded no contest to charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, fourth offense in five years, operating while revoked with revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance refusal, operating with prohibited alcohol content-fourth offense in five years, and bail jumping, which allegedly occurred May 2 in the town of Little Suamico. The court amended the cash bond from $3,000 to $5,000. A sentencing will be held March 3.
A waiver preliminary hearing/arraignment was held for Ronald A. McDowell Jr., 26, Green Bay. He pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of possession of THC, second offense, which allegedly occurred Oct. 11 in Abrams. The court set a $1,500 signature bond. The next hearing will be held Feb. 12.
An arraignment was held for Randy M. Phillips, 52, Crivitz. He stood mute so the court entered a not guilty plea on a felony charge of OWI, third offense, with a passenger under 16, which allegedly occurred Aug. 16 in Abrams. A $2,500 cash bond continue. A pre-trial conference will be held Feb. 12.
An arraignment/initial appearance was held for Brooks L. Polczinski, 21, Oconto Falls. He pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of causing a child age 13-18 to view sexual activity and two charges of fourth-degree sexual assault, which allegedly occurred on or about Oct. 25 in Spruce. A $5,000 cash bond continues. A pre-trial conference will be held Feb. 10.
A final pre-trial conference was held for James L. Smithingell, 55, Little Suamico, on charges of second-degree sexual assault/unconscious victim, which allegedly occurred Jan. 1 in the town of Little Suamico. A $10,000 signature bond continues. A plea and sentencing will be held Jan. 16.
Jan. 6
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Zak R. Noack, 21, Oconto, on two felony counts of theft of movable property party to a crime, which allegedly occurred Nov. 23 in Oconto. The court set a $1,000 cash bond. An arraignment/status conference will be held Feb. 12.
A plea/sentencing was held for Seth M. Fidler, 20, Crivitz, on a felony charge of driving or operating a vehicle without owner’s consent and two misdemeanor charges, which occurred Dec. 1 in Oconto County. On the misdemeanor charges, he was sentenced to 18 months probation, withheld, concurrent to felony charge. He will serve 37 days in jail and is to have no contact with the victim or residence. The court will expunge his record if he serves his sentence, completes his probation and pays all his citations while keeping himself crime free.
A sentencing was held for Richard K. Garrigan II, 21, of Oconto Falls, on charges of armed robbery (threat of force) from June 21, 2011, He was sentenced to incarceration for seven years and extended supervision for five years, concurrent with other charges. Charges of manufacture/delivery of schedule 1 or 2 narcotics were dismissed. On charges of possession of narcotics (repeater) May 2, he was sentenced to 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision concurrent with other charges. He must pay restitution of $1,220.72 along with court costs. Absolute sobriety and any AODA services must be successfully completed and he may not have any contact with the victim.
Jan. 5
An initial appearance was held for Kimberly A. Spice, 36, Abrams, on a felony charge of misappropriating ID information to obtain money and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Jan. 2 in the town of Abrams. The court set a $1,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance will be held Jan. 15.
