HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital Prevea Oconto Falls Health Center, 835 Main St., will expand its hours and offer new providers for urgent care services.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 2, urgent care services will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Urgent care services include walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries. Common conditions are cold or flu symptoms, earaches, sprains, minor fractures, cuts, infections and asthma.
The new providers treating urgent care patients will be physician assistant Sarah Gottfredsen and nurse practitioners Lisa Fonder, Diane Milson and Shanna Sebero.
To ensure a smooth transition into the expanded hours, urgent care services at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital Prevea Oconto Falls Health Center are unavailable until the new hours go into effect Feb. 2.
All other services at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital Prevea Oconto Falls Health Center, including primary care, internal medicine and lab services, are still available. Appointments can be made by calling 920-846-8187.
For patients in need of urgent care services between now and Feb. 1, the Prevea Oconto Health Center, 620 Smith Ave., is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
For emergency medical needs, patients can visit the HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital Emergency Department 24 hours a day.
