This is the recipe for an evening of mayhem, murder and merriment as the Oconto Falls High School Drama Club presents its mainstage production, “If Today is the First Day of the Rest of My Life, I’m in Real Trouble.”
Senior Nick Borisch stars as Skagway Sid, a crusty old prospector determined to protect his hidden treasure. Sid’s plans are soon disrupted when his deserted little town is invaded by the college class, led by Professor Ned Baker (Ethan Winkler); the Cosa Nostra mob, led by Boss Julio Costaldi (Matt Lyng); and the movie company of the great director Courtland Bishop (Brady Vorpahl).
Also in the performance are Liam Spillane, Garret Gubbels, Maddie Sprout, Leah Wons, Jen Longsine, Brianna Ryczek, Victoria Bain-Vrba, Ashley Tingley, Camden Jackson, Taylor Pritzl, Eja Sweig, Scott Heller, Kim Schliep, Angelo Betow, Gabe Grenke, Hannah Fontaine, Katie Brunette, Samara Kaiser, Andrea Shamburek, McCoy Fischer, Holly Umentum, Jenna Langlay, Haley Pritzl, Catherine Shockley and Brady Vrooman, who is also serving as student director.
The club and production is under the direction of faculty member Gayle Gander.
Performances for “Real Trouble” will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27 and 28, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, in the Falls Area Performing Arts Center at Oconto Falls High School.
Tickets, which will be sold at the door, are $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens (55 and older) and $5 for students.
