Suring students compete at state contest

Seven members from the Suring High School FBLA chapter competed in this year’s State Leadership Conference from April 13-14 in La Crosse. The team of Trent Lechleitner, Felicia Wachtendonk and Hailey Thompson placed fourth in the Business Ethics event. Also competing were Victoria Hull and Josh Vollmar, Future Business Leader; Faith Buhrandt, Agribusiness; and Jadyn Stuart, FBLA Principles and Procedures. The two-day conference offered general sessions, workshops, tours, competitive events and open events. Students also took part in a Miracle Moment for the March of Dimes. Throughout the year, members from across the state raised more than $6,000 for the March of Dimes.
