Pulaski 6, Shawano 2
Pulaski tennis players won all four singles matches and two of the four doubles bouts against Shawano, ending the day at 6-2.
The No. 1 singles match between Pulaski’s Fraedrich and Shawano’s Ruben De Gaspari took there sets. De Gaspari opened with a 7-5 win before Fraedrich responded with 6-0, 10-5 sets for the win.
The other singles matches weren’t quite as close.
Nathan Maroszek defeated Tanner Thiel 6-4, 6-1; Mikel Iglesias-Mino shut out Elias Popp 6-0, 6-0; and Jonah Drevs beat Everett Grover 6-2, 6-0.
At No. 1 doubles, Pulaski’s Ryan Symons and Henry Piczkowski opened with a win over Abraham Kim and Evan Anderson 6-2, 6-2.
The No. 2 match took three sets. Pulaski’s Donovan Holderness and Oscar Delmarcelle prevailed over Kiernan Sheldon and Charlie Grieves 6-4, 2-6, 10-4.
Shawano’s John Kim and Bakytzhan Tulenov won in tiebreaker over William Gosse and Conrad Kreutzberg 6-1, 7-6 (5).
At No. 4 doubles, Shawano’s Adam Prey and Samuel Green defeated Jakob Malchow and Lucas Ford 7-5, 6-1.
