• Bond was set at $7,500 cash for Travis M. Grun, 30, Crivitz, after he was charged with strangulation and suffocation, battery and disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse repeater, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 12. Judge Jay Conley adjourned his initial appearance until April 24.
• Bond was set at $800 cash for Michelle Jean Jasmin, 49, Appleton, after she was charged with harboring or aiding a felon and two counts of felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 11. Conley adjourned her initial appearance until April 24.
• Bond was set at $500 cash for Sarah J. Hujet, 42, Gillett, after she was charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 13. Conley adjourned her initial appearance until April 24.

• Bond was set at $250 cash for Laurie Ann Wendt, 60, Stanley, after she was charged with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of operating while revoked, violating an ignition interlock device order and bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 16. Conley adjourned her initial appearance until April 24.
Proceedings of March 18
• Kevin James Landree, 43, Marinette, was found not guilty by reason of mental defect for taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, in connection with an incident that occurred April 9, 2024. Judge Michael Judge asked the state to prepare an order of commitment, and he ordered a predisposition investigation. A commitment hearing was scheduled for May 27.
• A final pre-trial conference was held for the April 1-3 jury trial scheduled for Cody John Krueger, 37, an Oconto man currently serving time at Green Bay Correctional Institution. He faces charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, armed robbery and first-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred in Oconto on Sept. 3, 2021. Krueger is also awaiting trial on two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer, and misdemeanor driving while his license was revoked, in connection with his arrest a week later on Sept. 10, 2021.
• Because other cases are on the schedule ahead of his, an April 1-2 jury trial was postponed for Shane Brandon Ksobiech, 32, Tomahawk, on charges of substantial battery intending bodily harm and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 23, 2022. Judge scheduled a status conference for May 22.
• Brett Joseph Bertrand, 44, Abrams, pleaded no contest to fleeing an officer in his vehicle in connection with an incident that occurred May 8, 2024, as well as felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 24. Judge scheduled sentencing for May 27 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• Tiffany A. Peshek, 33, Oconto, pleaded no contest to child neglect with a consequence of bodily harm, in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 25, 2024. Judge withheld finding her guilty under a deferred judgment agreement that suspends the case for one year.
• Brett W. Nichols, 54, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 8. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for May 22.
Proceedings of March 20
• James John Crouse, 53, Menominee, Michigan, was sentenced to four years in prison, followed by four years of extended supervision with conditions, for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and possession of THC (second and subsequent offense) in connection with incidents that occurred Nov. 13, 2024, and Nov. 16, 2023, and felony bail jumping in connection with the 2024 incident. Judge ruled that he is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program after serving two and a half years, which can lead to early release upon successful completion.
• After a speedy trial demand was filed, a Sept. 9-10 jury trial was rescheduled to May 20-21 for Kurtis Lee Peters, 28, Keshena, who is charged with armed robbery, first-degree recklessly endangering safety and false imprisonment, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 13. Conley scheduled a final pre-trial conference for May 5.
• Sean R. Calewarts, 41, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to three counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 9, and misappropriating identity information to avoid penalty and three counts of felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 15. He is also awaiting trial on charges of stalking, felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor domestic abuse order violation, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 9, 2024; felony bail jumping and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 1, and two counts of felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 3, 2024. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for April 24.
• James P. Linz, 43, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of THC (second and subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 12, and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 9. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for April 24.
• Raymond A. Tourtillott, 45, Keshena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of fleeing an officer in a vehicle and two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 3. Conley scheduled arraignment for April 24.

• Robby J. Lewis, 31, a Gillett man serving a sentence at Redgranite Correctional Institution, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred June 30. Conley scheduled sentencing for May 27 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
• Tammy J. Gauthier, 43, Seymour, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of an illegally obtained prescription, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 30. Judge had approved a two-year deferred judgment agreement with Gauthier on Aug. 30, 2022, after she pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine in a Nov. 23, 2021, incident. He scheduled a pre-trial conference for May 22.
• Joshua W. Longsine, 36, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 13. Conley scheduled arraignment for April 24.
• Russell P. Radaj, 55, Lena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 29. Judge scheduled arraignment for April 24.
• Nicholas Donald Collar, 31, New London, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), three counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 12. Conley scheduled arraignment for April 24.
