Waupun 5, Shawano/Bonduel 2
Max Huntington scored at 3:36 in the first period (with an assist from Blake Knope) to give Shawano/Bonduel an early 1-0 lead, but it wouldn’t hold up against Waupun, which returned home with a 5-2 win.
Waupun’s Jonas Buchholz tied the game two minutes after Huntington’s score, and Haiden Rieder scored the first of his three goals just 15 seconds after that to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead after the first period.
Rieder scored again just 24 seconds into the second period. The Hawks’ Gavin Hundt made it 3-2 when he scored at the 10:00 mark to end the second period scoring.
Rieder’s hat trick was completed in the third, along with another Waupun goal, to make it a 5-2 final.
Waupun had 45 shots on goal, and Kaiden Thornborrow tallied 40 saves. In comparison, Shawano/Bonduel only managed 15 shots on goal.
Waupun was penalized only once for two minutes, while Shawano/Bonduel was called for six infractions for 12 minutes.
The Hawks were scheduled to host Pacelli on Feb. 4 and travel to Appleton on Feb. The regular seasons is scheduled to close out with a home game Feb. 8 against Manitowoc United and a home game Feb. 13 against Notre Dame JV.
Antigo 5, Milton 0
Eli Kassler had a hat trick, and Owen Dickman scored two goals as Antigo shut out Milton 5-0.
Both teams had 35 shots on goal, with Richie Veriha getting all 35 saves for the Red Robins. Each team was penalized four times for eight minutes.
Dickman started the scoring with an assist by Kassler at 10:15 in the first period.
It was all Kassler in the second period. Dickman assisted on Kassler’s first goal at 7:02. Parker Chaney assisted on the goal at 10:58, and Kassler scored on his own at 15:14.
In the third period, Kassler and Chaney assisted on Dickman’s goal at 3:58.

Waupun 7, Antigo 1
In a preview of what Shawano/Bonduel could expect the next day, Waupun hosted Antigo and emerged with a 7-1 win.
The Red Robins trailed 3-0 when Eli Kassler scored with help from Parker Chaney toward the end of the second period to make it 3-1. But, the Warriors scored twice more within the final minutes to lead 5-1 after two period.
Waupun scored twice more in the third period for the lopsided win.
Waupun had 61 shots on goal, with Richie Veriha getting 54 saves. Antigo only had 15 shots on goal.
The Warriors were penalized twice for four minutes. The Red Robins were called for eight penalties, including a head contact and misconduct calls, for a total 27 minutes.
