Wittenberg-Birnamwood 69, Northland Pines 58
The Chargers advanced to 11-2 with a solid non-conference 69-58 win over the Northland Pines Eagles.
Jett Rogowski paced the Chargers with 32 points as solid contributions came from multiple players.
“Defensively, we switched things up and tried to keep them off rhythm. They have a nice team and seemed to always keep things within reach,” said coach Garrett Rogowski. “Our boys fought hard and played three games in three schools days. They’re working hard, and it’s showing.”
Bay Port 72, Pulaski 70
It was a tale of two halves with Bay Port ending up on top 72-70 in the Fox River Classic Conference game.
The Pirates led 38-29 at the half, but the Red Raiders fought back to outscored Bay Port 41-34 in the second half. Unfortunately for Pulaski, the comeback wasn’t quite enough.
Both teams are 5-5 in league play.
