Shawano boys hockey loses to Northland Pines

Dec. 3 Northland Pines 8, Shawano/Bonduel 1 The Shawano/Bonduel boys hockey team (2-1) suffered its first loss of the season with an 8-1 defeat at the hands of Northland Pines at the Crawford Center. Gavin Hundt put the Hawks on the board just 47 seconds into the game on an even strength goal with assists from Cameron Schroeder and Blake Swedberg. It was all Eagles from there, as they led 2-1 at the end of the first period. The visitors added two more goals in the second period and four in the third. Each team was called for three infractions for six minutes. Kaiden Thornborrow notched 25 saves for Shawano/Bonduel, and Evrett Leslie had seven for Northland Pines.
