Gresham beats Tigerton in volleyball

Oct. 8 Gresham 3, Tigerton 0 Gresham shut out Tigerton 3-0 and stayed atop the Central Wisconsin North Conference with a 7-2 mark. Scores were 25-13, 25-14, 25-19. Top players for Gresham were Janay Pecore-Kirkland with 13 kills; Rylie Kakwitch with 11 kills and 10 digs; Lexi Baddmoccosin-Barnes with 12 assists, 15 digs and six kills; Kiara Cornelius with 13 assists and 10 service points; and Cami Gourley with 11 service points. For Tigerton, Presley Stewart-Rolfs led with nine kills, Aaliyah Lederhaus had five, and Danika Tiller added three. Tiller led with 10 assists. Jade Selle was tops in digs with 15. Also contributing were Lederhaus and Sienna Breaker with 12 each, Angel Welch with 11, Lillian Welch with 10, Stewart-Rolfs with six and Tiller with five. Stewart-Rolfs recorded one block kill. Angle Welch tallied six points with two aces, Tiller collected five points with two aces, and Lederhaus had two aces. Tigerton dropped to 3-5 in conference play.
