Wittenberg-Birnamwood slowly built up its lead over New London, ending the swim meet with a 20-point advantage.
Events kicked off with the 200 medley relay, in which Addison Schmid, Reese Dickman, Kelsie Davis and Rylee Crick won in 2:34.7. Teammates Brooklyn Beran, Chloe Hanson, Faith Resch and Ava Hegewald were third in 2:27.59.
New London won the 200 freestyle and took a 16-14 lead. Claire Timm was third, Andrea Powell was fifth, and Elizabeth Behnke placed sixth.
Davis won the 100 individual medley in 2:39.4 and Crick was second in 3:01.7, and the Chargers were back in front 24-22. They would not give up the lead again.
Resch won the 50 freestyle in 28.86, with Olivia Bessette in third and Schmid in sixth.
Davis then won the 100 butterfly in 1:12.09. Hegewald placed third, and Crick was fourth.
The 100 freestyle was won by Beran in 1:08.77. Timm placed fifth.
The Chargers took a commanding 18-point lead, 64-46, after finishing 1-2-3 in the 500 freestyle. Bessette won the event in 5:46.35, followed by Powell in second in 6:01.85 and Behnke in third in 6:09.33.
Beran, Crick, Bessette and Dickman placed second in the 200 freestyle relay.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood went up 80-60 after the 100 backstroke. Resch won the race in 1:17.18, with Beran in second and Schmid in fourth.
Hegewald won the 100 breaststroke in 1:30.81, with Hanson in fifth.
Finally, Resch, Bessette, Timm and Davis closed out the match touching first in the 400 freestyle relay in 4:45.12.
