The Gillett Area Chamber of Commerce has announces its highly anticipated Homecoming and Harvest Days is coming to Gillett beginning Oct. 7.
The homecoming football game takes place on Oct. 11. with games and food vendors at the school. The Harvest Days Market will be held Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gillett Secondary School.
Attendees can look forward to a market featuring a variety of local artisans, craftspeople, and businesses showcasing their wares.
One of the highlights of this year’s event is the soup cookoff. Contestants are invited to submit their best recipes for a friendly competition where they will vie for the title of “Best Soup in Gillett.” Community members will have the opportunity to taste-test all entries and cast their votes throughout the day. With prizes up for grabs and bragging rights on the line, participants are encouraged to register early, as spaces are limited.
Vendor spaces are still available for those looking to showcase their products or services during the event.
