• Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Brett Joseph Bertrand, 43, Abrams, after he was charged with fleeing an officer in his vehicle and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 8. Judge Michael Judge adjourned his initial appearance until June 13.
Proceedings of May 7
• Brandon Sean Ertel, 30, formerly of Oconto, was sentenced to the 386 days he has already served for strangulation and suffocation in connection with an incident that occurred April 16, 2023. Judge ordered that he remain in custody until the sheriff’s department can transport him to the New Community Shelter in Green Bay.
• Dana Marie White, 32, Green Bay, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver cocaine, in connection with an incident that occurred June 3, 2023. Judge scheduled sentencing for July 9 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
• After a preliminary hearing Cindy M. Earley, 56, Oconto, was bound over and pleaded not guilty to felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 29. Meanwhile, a Sept. 11 jury trial was scheduled on a felony charge of child abuse intentionally causing harm and misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 23, 2021. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Aug. 26.
• Bond was set at $500 cash for Joshua R. Uphill, 25, Oconto, after he was charged with second-degree reckless injury in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 4. Judge Jay Conley adjourned his initial appearance until June 13.

• Bond was set at $1,500 cash for Travis A. Verbruggen, 34, Oconto Falls, after he was charged with stalking and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 5. Conley adjourned his initial appearance to June 13.
