Nancy L. Thomson, 71, of Mountain, passed away on Tuesday May 13, 2025, in Shawano after fighting valiantly against health issues over the past few years.
Nancy was born in Appleton on Dec. 21, 1953, daughter of the late Reinhart and Leova (Cavert) Kamine. On June 15, 1974, Nancy was united in marriage to Harold “Bud” Thomson in Appleton. They lived, worked and raised their family in Appleton before moving to Mountain in 1998.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed gardening, baking, boating, fishing, deer hunting and scrapbooking for her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds and blue jays, which were her favorites. She loved animals and had many pets throughout the years. Nancy was a kind and generous woman, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Harold “Bud” Thomson; daughter, Lisa (son-in-law Azael) Meza; grandchildren, Sylvia Meza, Stella Meza and Kyler Rettler; and several siblings. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Thomson; a grandson, Carson; her parents; and siblings, Pete Kamine, Dave Kamine, Jane Ann Kamine and Raymond Kamine.
In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, private family services will be held.
