Michael Sylvester Linzmeyer

Michael Sylvester Linzmeyer, 52, Suring, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, surrounded by his family, following a long illness. Mike was born in Oconto Falls on Aug. 28, 1962, to Ronald and Mary Jean Linzmeyer. Mike married Lori Wolcott on June 20, 1998, in a beautiful outdoor western ceremony. Mike enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, best friend Mike Symanski and his three furry friends, Sabrina, Scooby and Casper. Mike also enjoyed country music, gardening, hunting, fishing and any outdoor activities. Mike is survived by his two children, son, Mikey, daughter, Kelly (Mike) Berg; one granddaughter, Skyla; father, Ronald Linzmeyer; brothers, Steve (Karen) Linzmeyer, Pat (Sherrie) Linzmeyer; sisters, Bernie (Larry) Kempka, Sue (Francis) Kostreva, Debbie (Dave) Fabry, Mary Valley, Billi (Ron) Schmocker; and his nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Lori; mother, Mary Jean Linzmeyer; brother-in-law, Mark Valley; and mother-in-law, Bev Wolcott. Services will be held Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed with the Rev. Paul Schuenemen officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. We would like to thank the staff at Aurora BayCare hospital for taking such great care of Mike and his family during his short stay there.
