Mary (Farris) Richert, 58, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, June 5, 2015. She was born Jan. 23, 1957, to the late Mary Arvada (Heckendorn) and Denny Lane Farris.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, hunting, fishing and caring for others. She loved spending time outdoors, especially in Bruce Crossing, Michigan, where she took care of her father before he passed.
Mary is survived by her three children, Mark (Lisa) Olson, Shanon (Kevin) Laubenstein, Lucinda (special friend, Chris Denman) Stascak; her special friend, James Eggert; her grandchildren, Bryana, Megan, Nick Wilson, Samantha, Briana Olson, Dakota Stascak, Kevin Laubenstein Jr., Sierra Laubenstein, Rosina Dick and Jaydon Hornung; and one great-grandchild, Aubrey Wilson. She is further survived by her siblings, Fred Farris, Dan (Lori) Scott, Robert (special friend, Lindsey Anderson) Farris, Sandy (Roger) Weber, Denise Mosher, Rosina Vickers, Sarah (Scott) Nelson; a sister-in-law, Sally Farris; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Owen Farris, and her sister, Jackie Lewison.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 1013 S. Bartlett St. in Shawano with Roger Weber officiating.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Tamella’s office, St. Vincent Hospital staff on the ninth floor and Unity Hospice for all the wonderful care she was given.
