The NFL draft is in the books, and the Green Bay Packers will now set their sights to getting their rookies acclimated while trying to get healthy for a chance to chase their 14th world championship.

Their draft class this year was different than any in the recent past, because they did not have a first-round pick — thanks to the trade for defensive end Micah Parsons.

Much is always expected from a team’s first-round draft pick. Such was the case in 2025 when the Green Bay Packers selected Matthew Golden in the 23rd overall spot.

But, has he materialized into what the fans — or the coaching staff — expected?

The NFL draft is come and gone, and the Green Bay Packers are hoping for a class that can help push them over the top of the NFC and into the Super Bowl. While they are looking for help from their rookies, usually a draft class takes a few years to fully develop, and it is previous draft classes that need to have players develop into stars.

In one of the most unlikely Super Bowl matchups, based off of preseason odds, football fans across the world are treated to a match up between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Feb. 8.

After two straight seasons losing in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, there may be some more changes within the depth chart of the Green Bay Packers.

With Green Bay’s season ending prematurely, the team is taking some time off before moving to the new season.
