Laura Bueschel, 68, of Wausau, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.
Laura was born in Rhinelander on Sept. 13, 1945, to the late John and Catherine (Stevens) Becraft. She enjoyed time spent with her grandkids. She taught them how to play guitar and piano. She was a lover of music, and could make a guitar pick out of a credit card. She also loved camping, card games and board games. Laura was a faithful person who enjoyed a good debate and finding a good bargain.
Survivors include her children, Dennis (Alysia) Pillsbury, of Shawano, John (Kelly) Bueschel, of Shawano, Laurie (Harry) Carpenter, of Weston, and Tina (Joe Ritchie) Bueschel, of Weyauwega; sisters, Margaret (Charlie) Congleton, Theresa Shoenfelder and Catherine Holt; grandchildren, Justin, Tim, and Kayla Pieper, Shawna and Kyle Bueschel, Gage and Adriana Pillsbury, and Rhemi and Levi Bueschel; great-granddaughter, Victoria Pieper; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Bueschel; brother, John Becraft; sister, Mary Becraft; and her furry companion, BB Kitty.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 113 W. Kort St., Rothschild. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Monday.
