Kristy Ann Elfe Dickerson, daughter of Elliot (deceased) and Margaret Elfe, of Suring, died of cancer on April 19, 2015.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Elfe, and siblings, Joanne Erickson (Hal), Mark Elfe (Joan), Ruth DeNamur, David Elfe (Janine) and Gary Elfe (Denise).
Kristy was married to James Dickerson for 35 years. She is survived by her husband, James, and sons, Joseph and Matthew.
Kristy was an early Title IX women’s varsity basketball player at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee.
Kristy had two master’s degrees and worked for the Veterans Administration as a corrective therapist and social worker for about 20 years.
Kristy liked to travel; she had been to all 50 states and more than 25 foreign countries.
She is being buried in Sheridan, Wyoming, where she last worked as a VA social worker.
