Kenny J. LaTender, 39, of Middle Village, passed away on Sept. 4, 2014, in Green Bay. Kenny was born on Sept. 19, 1974, in Merrill, to Simon and Carol (Vigue) LaTender.
On June 7, 1997, Kenny was united in marriage to MeShan Beauprey. He worked and lived all his life on the Menominee Reservation. Kenny was a great dad who enjoyed spending time with his sons, attending their sports activities whenever possible. He was also an avid Packers fan.
Kenny is survived by his wife, MeShan, of Neopit; his children, stepson Richard Tourtillott III, Kenny R. LaTender, Chance L. LaTender, Ty M. LaTender, Dayton F. LaTender and Connor S. LaTender; grandson, Kenny R. LaTender Jr.; his parents, Simon and Carol LaTender, of Keshena; and his siblings, Mark LaTender, Lori (Craig) Corn and Kathy LaTender.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O. Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano and again from 8 a.m. until the procession leaves for the church on Monday at the funeral home. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. at Swedberg Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014.
