James Demmin

James Demmin, 69, of Shawano, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Appleton Medical Center. James was born on Sept. 30, 1945, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Reuben and Eunice (Vertz) Demmin. James was a graduate of Mishicot High School, Class of 1963. After graduation, he was employed by Manitowoc Engineering Cranes Division. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the town of Two Rivers from 1974-1980. James was united in marriage on July 1, 1989, to Beverly (Blanchard) Clark in Manitowoc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and doing yard work with his John Deere. He especially loved dining out and traveling with his wife, Beverly. James is survived by his wife, Beverly; one daughter, Jill (Gregg), Francis Creek; one stepdaughter, Michele (Wes) Carper, of Sedro Woolley, Washington; grandchildren, Sydney, Ryley and Megan Schetter, Courtney and Garrett Carlson; step-grandchildren, Shelby, Cody and Levi Carper; and one sister, Betty (Wolf) Kannegiesser, of Two Rivers. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kim Carlson, from Ashwaubenon, his parents and his special pet golden retriever, Jake. A private family service will be held.
