Walker is moving state forward

To the editor: Lest we not forget! Remember how the Democratic senators ran to Illinois instead of staying in Madison to do their job? Remember how the demonstrators took over our beautiful Capitol building and thrashed it while disrupting our government? Remember how UW-Madison doctors gave phony sick excuses to the demonstrators who skipped work to join the demonstrations? All this over decisions endorsed by Scott Walker who was duly elected by a majority of our citizens to lead our state for four years. He then withstood a recall election to try to drive him out of office. In spite of all these attacks, Scott Walker has succeeded in moving Wisconsin forward. School districts around the state have saved millions of dollars due to the reforms put in place. Now you are asked to again vote for the “whatever it takes” tactics of today’s Democratic Party led by the weak Obama administration in Washington. Here in Wisconsin, Mary Burke plans to move us back to the failed, bigger government tax-and-spend policies of the Jim Doyle era. I urge you to join with me and vote for Scott Walker, Rebecca Kleefisch and Brad Schimel on Nov. 4. The hard-fought gains made the last four years are indeed helping to move Wisconsin forward.
