Turn back to the Bible

To the editor: More and more states are now allowing gays to marry. More and more people have turned away from the God of our fathers and from his holy word, the Bible, when there are more than 14 passages in the Bible against homosexuality. My God Almighty, what have we done? Years ago, the country passed a law legalizing alcohol, and it says in the Bible that the drunkard will not inherit the kingdom of God. We continue to drift farther and farther away from the Lord and his holy word. My God Almighty, what have we done? More and more states are legalizing marijuana, turning more and more against the creator and his word, when it says in the Bible to offer up your body as a living sacrifice unto the Lord. My God Almighty, what have we done? We are not allowed to spank our children, and it says in the Bible if you “spare the rod, you spoil the child.” Stop and look what has happened to the youth of our country. My God Almighty, what have we done? The more the United States of America drifts away from the Lord God and his holy word, the worse it gets. And no, I am not going to quote the Scriptures. It also says in the Bible to “study the word to show thyself approved.” Get a Bible, and look it up for yourself. There is a way to turn the country back on the right track, and that is to turn back to the Bible. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and commit your life to him and don’t worry if you “offend” someone if you talk about Jesus. The only ones who are going to be “offended” are those who do not accept him as their Lord and Savior and the only means to heaven. Please take heed to these words, America. The time is short.
