Tigerton defeated NEWCHAA (Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschoolers Athletic Association) in three straight sets with set scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-14.
Aaliyah Lederhaus led the Tigers with 14 digs, followed by Jade Selle with 13, Sienna Breaker with 12 and Angel Welch with 10.
Danika Tiller tallied 10 assists.
Presley Stewart-Rolfs notched six kills, while Lederhaus had three and Breaker added two.
Breaker recorded 11 service points and three aces, and Lederhaus had 11 service points and two aces.
Tigerton’s record is 2-2 in the CWC North and 6-4 overall.
Gresham 3, White Lake 0
Gresham won in three straight sets over White Lake on its home court 25-13, 25-7, 25-11.
Leading the Wildcats were Janay Pecore-Kirkland with 13 service points and 14 kills, Rylie Kakwitch with 10 service points and five aces, Kiara Cornelius with 12 service points, Lexi Baddmoccosin-Barnes with eight assists and five kills, and Mataya Hill with eight digs.
Gresham improved to 3-1 in the CWC North Conference and 5-4 overall.
Lena 3, Gillett 1
Lena beat Gillett in four sets, 28-26, 25-19, 17-25, 21-25.
Stat leaders for Gillett were Mia Soper, one ace, five kills, four digs; Emily Soper, three kills, five digs; Mya Kuhn, six kills, six digs; Reece Franti, three aces, five kills, seven digs; Audrey Pate, seven aces, six kills, 15 digs; and Clara Schaal, two aces, three kills, seven digs.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 3, Manawa 1
Wittenberg-Birnamwood opened CWC East play with a 3-1 win over Manawa.
“We started the night very well with two good wins in the first and second sets,” coach Becky Rew said. “The third set was rough for us. We let them go on a 10-point run, and we couldn’t recover. However, I am glad we bounced back in the fourth set, because that hasn’t been our strong suit lately. We started the fourth set strong and held onto that lead until the end of the match.”
Game scores were 25-20, 25-18, 18-25, 25-18.
Stat leaders included Kendyl Kessen with 19 serving attempts with three aces and 11 digs, and Lily Metropulos with 23 serving attempts and four aces, 25 hitting attempts with six kills, 18 assists, two block kills and 15 digs.
Melaina Granquist tallied 36 hitting attempts with 15 kills and two block kills, while Kaitlin Tuskowski had 17 serving attempts with four aces and four assists.
Ava Brei recorded 13 hitting attempts with five kills and two block kills, and Makayla Meronk had 17 digs.
The Chargers are 9-6 overall.
