Spencer C. Malueg, 70, of Suring passed away at home with his family by his side on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, following a short illness with cancer.
He was born Feb. 24, 1944, to the late Charles and Rose (Otradovec) Malueg.
Spencer was self-employed as a drywall installer and finisher. He was an avid hunter and could fix anything.
Spencer is survived by his three daughters, Shari (James) Willms, Rose (Darynn) Zempel and Sharon (John) Deleeuw; four sisters, Mona, Marsha, Sonja and Goldie; and three brothers, Gary, Greg and Dale. He is further survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his ex-wife, Elaine Malueg, who he was married to for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tracy, in 1987; his brother, Charlie Jr.; and his two sisters, Myrna and Margo.
A private family graveside service will be held in spring in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Suring, where Spencer will be interred by his son, Tracy.
