Sigi Fust, a devoted wife, mother and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, at the age of 80. Born in Neustaedhein-Lautenbach, Germany, she was on of nine siblings in a close-knit family.
In her early 20s, she found love and married David Fust, embarking on a life adventure that led them to the United States. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising their three children, Flori, Harold and Hans.
Her family was her world. She dedicated her life to nurturing her children and showing love for her grandchildren. Her presence was a source of joy and comfort, and her support shaped their lives. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Jason, Leeann, Lyndsey, James Jr., Heidi, Paul, David, Alex, Julianna and Liam, and her 16 great-grandchildren. She also held a special place in her heart for her grandson, James, and great-granddaughter, Madelyn, who passed away earlier.
Sigi will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit and the warmth she shared with everyone. She loved socializing with friends, and her laughter and vibrant personality filled any room she entered.
She is survived by her children, Flori Jesperson, Harold Fust and Hans Fust; her grandchildren; and her beloved siblings in Germany. She is reunited with her husband, David, who has passed.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at noon at Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
