• Kerry D. Kluck, 68, Stevens Point, pleaded no contest to a possession of THC ordinance violation. The charge was amended from a felony count. Judge Katherine Sloma levied a $50 fine plus court costs. • Robert V. Julius, 30, Suring, pleaded no contest July 14 to strangulation and suffocation and felony bail jumping. Sloma withheld sentencing and placed him on four years of probation with conditions. • Stephen M. Shields, 43, an Antigo man serving a sentence at Redgranite Correctional Institution, pleaded no contest July 16 to fleeing an officer in his vehicle, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, three counts of felony bail jumping, and a misdemeanor charge of operating while revoked. Sloma sentenced him to four years in prison followed by five years of extended supervision with conditions. • Ashton J. Brugger, 21, Shawano, pleaded no contest July 15 to a misdemeanor count of theft. A related felony charge was dismissed in a plea agreement. Sloma ordered restitution, fines and court costs totaling $12,133. • Kylie J. Szydlowski, 28, Shawano, was charged July 14 with child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, and five counts of felony bail jumping. Sloma set an $850 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 17. • Troy D. Crowe, 53, Neopit, was charged July 15 with strangulation and suffocation, three counts of felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct. In a separate file, Crowe was charged with possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a $2,000 cash bond on each case and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 21. • Virgil R. Wilber, 53, Neopit, was charged July 15 with felony bail jumping and operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked. Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Aug. 8. • Horst P. Ellwart III, 36, Bowler, was charged July 16 with two counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $250 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Oct. 14. • Zachary R. Wincentsen, 27, Shawano, was charged July 16 with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), three counts of felony bail jumping, three misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Aug. 28. • Barron B. Waupoose, 18, Keshena, was charged July 16 with hit and run causing injury and a misdemeanor count of causing injury while operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Sloma set a $350 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Aug. 28. • Curtis L. Vele, 30, Bowler, was charged July 17 with possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a $2,500 signature bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 28. • Montana R. Olson, 28, Keshena, was charged July 17 with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of an illegal article, and two counts of felony bail jumping. In a separate file, she was charged with committing the identical four allegations on a different date. Sloma set a $2,500 signature bond in the first case, a $500 cash bond in the second, and scheduled a preliminary hearing of both cases for Aug. 6.
