Pulaski tennis team goes 2-3 in Wausau

April 27 Oshkosh West 7, Pulaski 0 Pulaski’s tennis team had a rough go of it at Wausau West on April 26-27, going 2-3 in its contests. In its 7-0 loss to Oshkosh West, the most wins came from the No. 3 doubles team of Jonah Drevs and William Gosse, who lost 6-3, 6-2. Donovan Holderness lost 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Menomonie 7, Pulaski 0 The Red Raiders were also shut out by Menomonie but managed a few more close matches. Justin Freadrich, at No. 1 singles, lost 4-6, 6-2, 11-9. At No. 2 singles, Ryan Symons lost 7-5, 6-1. April 26 Pulaski 5, Wausau East 2 On the first day of the two-day affair, Pulaski won comfortably over Wausau East, 5-2. Freadrich won 6-1, 4-6, 1 0-3, and Symons won 6-4, 7-5. Aran Capella won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, and Holderness won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4. In doubles play, it was the No. 3 team of Drevs and Gosse winning 6-1, 6-3. Nathan Maroszek and Oscar Delmarcelle lost their No. 2 match, 1-6, 7-6 (5), 10-5. Pulaski 5, Wausau West 2 Pulaski also downed Wausau West by an identical 5-2 score. Freadrich, Symons and Capella won their singles matches – Symons won 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 – while Holderness came up short, 6-7 (4), 6-3, 10-7. Maroszek and Delmarcelle won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles, and Drevs and Gosse won at No. 3 doubles, 7-6 (0), 7-5. Marshfield 5, Pulaski 2 Pulaski won one singles match and one doubles match against Marshfield. Holderness won at No. 4 singles, and Maroszek and Delmarcelle won at No. 2 doubles.
