Shawano Area Waterways Management is updating the aquatic plant management portion of Shawano Lake’s 2021 comprehensive management plan. The updated aquatic plant management plan will be implemented starting in 2027.
During the summer, Onterra LLC completed several aquatic plant surveys on the Shawano Lake system. As part of this process, the opinions and thoughts of the people who care for and enjoy the lake are being sought via a public poll.
Anyone 18 or older who enjoys recreating on the lake or has a business associated with the lake is encouraged to take the poll. You do not need to own property on the lake to participate in the poll.
People are asked to only take the poll once, which is available at at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ShawanoWaterwaysSHS. The poll will be available through Sept. 30.
