The Machickanee Players will hold their annual general meeting for all members at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Park Avenue Playhouse, 408 Park Ave., Oconto. Everyone who has helped with a Machickanee Players production, either on stage or behind stage, is considered a voting member of the group and can help decide the direction of the group for the next year.
The gathering will begin with the general meeting at 3 p.m. A new executive board will be elected from the general membership, and members will discuss the current season and the upcoming season and brainstorm plans for 2016.
The meeting will be followed by a Christmas party, which will include a potluck dinner. The theme this year, for individuals who wish to dress for the occasion, is “Santa’s favorite helpers — elves!”
The Players plan to make major renovations in the near future and invite people to attend the meeting to help make the upcoming year more successful.
