The town of Riverview has completed several projects, including the installation of a pickle ball court, playground equipment and sand box.
A pavilion is almost ready for use. It can be completely enclosed for colder weather, but the four glass garage doors can be opened in warmer weather.
The bar and kitchen counter space in the pavilion have yet to be completed. Several meat raffles will be held to generate the revenue to finalize the project. The first raffle will take place from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the new pavilion. There will be food, drinks and meat raffles.
All of the projects were accomplished with donations from individuals, a Wal-Mart grant, proceeds from the Turkey Bowl fundraisers and financial support from the town.
