Two male students at Oconto Falls High School were referred to juvenile authorities Nov. 20 after staff members reported a 16-year-old appeared to be under the influence of a prescription drug allegedly supplied by a 14-year-old. Both boys are Oconto Falls residents.
An Oconto Falls officer investigated two incidents Nov. 21 as part of the department’s affiliation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
A water main break was reported at 6:10 p.m. Nov. 23 at 189 W. Highland Drive.
A vehicle driven by an Oconto Falls man, 57, was crossing Munsert Avenue Nov. 24 when it was struck by a vehicle driven by a Gillett woman, 35. The man’s vehicle sustained severe damage, and the woman’s vehicle sustained minor damage. The man was cited for failure to yield right of way. He sought his own treatment for an injury. The woman was cited for no proof of insurance.
A 32-year-old female living on Elm Avenue reported being threatened by a neighbor on Nov. 27.
A pick-up truck struck a utility pole at 331 S. Main St. at 9:22 p.m Nov. 28. The pole broke, and electrical wires were hanging over the roadway. The utility department was called to make repairs. The female driver, 49, of Oconto Falls, said she lost control of her vehicle on slippery roads. She sustained a minor injury. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
A 26-year-old female, of Oconto Falls, reported receiving harassing phone calls and texts from an ex-boyfriend, 29, of Oconto Falls, on Dec. 1. Officers spoke with the man but did not take further action.
The Department of Health and Human Services was notified on Dec. 2 after a 10-year-old male living on North Franklin Street threatened suicide.
A vehicle driven by a 79-year-old woman from the town of Oconto Falls backed into the vehicle driven by a 64-year-old male from the city of Oconto Falls on Dec. 2 at the Oconto Falls post office. The man’s vehicle sustained minor damage.
