Sept. 11 Deputies logged 23 incidents, including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a vehicle in the ditch on U.S. Highway 141 and County Road A in Lena. Noise Disturbance - Authorities responded to a complaint of people yelling outside the Wooden Shoe in Lena. Juvenile Problem - Authorities investigated a report of a child in Oconto Falls who pushed and kicked a smaller child. Burglary- A garage was broken into on Pineview Circle in Suring. It was not known if anything was missing. Sept. 10 Deputies logged 34 incidents, including the following: Accident - A vehicle struck a raccoon on County Road I and St. Patrick’s Road, Lena, causing damage to the vehicle. Accident - A vehicle roll-over occurred on Airport Road in Oconto when a female failed to negotiate a curve. Trees Down - Authorities assisted with 14 reports of trees being down in Oconto County. Fire - Authorities assisted with a vehicle on fire on U.S. Highway 141 and state Highway 22 in Lena. Sept. 9 Deputies logged 29 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a male dressed in dark clothing and wearing medical gloves who was looking into parked vehicles on Cross Street in Oconto. Emergency - Authorities investigated a report of a male with a knife in a parking lot on Gale Street, Oconto. Unwanted Party - Authorities investigated a complaint from employees of the Shell station in Gillett regarding a male party who comes to the station and harasses the clerks. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of sheet metal taken from a trailer on Moody Road in Abrams. Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a female who appeared to be intoxicated on Main Street in Oconto Falls. Sept. 8 Deputies logged 28 incidents, including the following: Accident - A vehicle was run off the road by a truck on County Road CC and Degantown Road in Oconto Falls. Accident - A vehicle left the road and struck a tree on Logan Road in Suring. Theft - Gravel was reported stolen from Peters Concrete on Yurek Road in Pulaski. Missing Person - Authorities assisted in finding a missing foster child who ran away from a home on County Road A in Lena and was found at the child’s grandmother’s home. Sept. 7 Deputies logged 24 incidents, including the following: Accident - A vehicle roll-over occurred on state Highway 32 in Lakewood. DNR- Authorities investigated a report from the DNR of an accident involving a man at Crooked Lake Road in Crivitz who sustained a knee injury while water skiing. Fire - Authorities assisted at a truck fire on state Highway 22 and County U in Gillett. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities making a routine traffic stop on County BB in Gillett were led on a high speed chase to the Cecil area. After placing a spike strip and popping the tires of the vehicle, authorities apprehended the driver. The vehicle had been reported stolen. Sept. 6 Deputies logged 24 incidents, including the following: ATV Accident - Authorities investigated an ATV accident on state Highway 32/64 and Parkside BP in Mountain. A female with a dislocated shoulder was transported to an area hospital. Accident - Authorities investigated a vehicle and tractor accident on Chestnut Road in Oconto Falls. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a woman driving down U.S. Highway 41 just north of the state Highway 22 exit in Oconto who heard a loud bang. She pulled over and noticed gunshot holes to the rear of her vehicle. Theft Automobile- A homeowner on Delcore Road in Oconto reported the theft of his truck taken from yard. Sept. 5 Deputies logged 38 incidents, including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated the report of a vehicle that hit a horse on state Highway 64 in Mountain. Suspicious - A suspicious vehicle was parked at a cabin on Wheeler Lake Lane in Lakewood. Welfare Check - Authorities investigated a report of three children on Mayflower Lane in Gillett who are registered for school and have not attended. Attempt to Locate/Welfare Check - Authorities investigated two calls reporting a couple is living out of their vehicle on County K in Oconto Falls.
