April 30 Deputies logged 27 incidents, including the following: Fire - Authorities assisted at the scene in which a vehicle was smoking after hitting a deer on U.S. Highway 41 in Oconto. The driver was unable to get out of the vehicle. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of people screaming in the road at Berry Lake, Gillett. Trespassing - Authorities investigated a report of people trespassing on property on Nichols Road, Oconto. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a disturbance at Suring High School, Algoma Street, Suring. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a stolen sign valued at approximately $500 from Pine Acres Golf Club on County Road EE in Abrams. April 29 Deputies logged 24 incidents, including the following: Disturbance - Authorities investigate a disturbance on Katch Drive in Oconto involving a 25-year-old woman with self-inflicted stab wounds She was transported by ambulance to Oconto Hospital. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a male hitchhiker on U.S. Highway 41/141 at Brown Road, Sobieski. Ambulance - Authorities assisted an ambulance on Funk Road, Lena, where a manure spreader tipped over onto a man. The man was transported to Oconto Hospital. Lewd and Lascivious - Authorities investigated a report of a 5-year-old making derogatory comments to a 9-year-old girl on Rosera Street in Lena. The child’s parents were notified. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of an elderly man walking on County Road A, Lena. The caller reported he was hard to see, and she was concerned he might get hit by a vehicle. April 28 Deputies logged 18 incidents, including the following: Animal Bite - Authorities investigated a report of a chihuahua biting a person on the leg at Duescher Lane, Abrams. Child Abuse - Authorities investigated a report of child abuse on County Road Z, Pound. Welfare Check - Authorities investigated a report of a suicidal person on County Road A in Lena. The person was transported to a medical facility for evaluation. Traffic Report - Authorities investigated a report of a truck in the ditch with another vehicle nearby on state Highway 32 and County Road Z, Suring. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office of a female driving recklessly on U.S. Highway 41 in Oconto. April 27 Deputies logged 33 incidents, including the following: Prowler - Authorities investigated a report of three males trying to gain entry through a homeowner’s back window on First Street in Gillett. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of physical assault on Ball Park Road in Little Suamico. A man had visible facial and neck injuries and was transported to Oconto Hospital. Fire - Authorities assisted with a field fire just north of Parkway Road in Pound. The Coleman and Suring fire departments were called to the pine plantation to assist. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted at a car fire on the U.S. Highway 41 southbound overpass near McDonald Street in Oconto. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report that a manure tanker did not stop at a stop sign on state Highway 22 and Klaus Lake Road in Gillett. April 26 Deputies logged 25 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a man who had passed out and left his vehicle running on Section 8 Church Road in Pound. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that was hit by another vehicle before striking the Bavarian Inn on East Main Street in Lena. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of a property owner on Half Moon Lake Road who noticed a shotgun hole in his garage. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a woman walking on state Highway 32/64 in Mountain. Authorities gave her a ride to a safe place to meet a ride. Domestic - Authorities investigated a report of a man and woman yelling and screaming on Robin Lane in Gillett. April 25 Deputies logged 26 incidents, including the following: Noise Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of loud music and four-wheelers and dirt bikes tearing up property on Thome Road in Oconto. Emergency - Authorities assisted with a call reporting a male passenger in a vehicle was unresponsive. Disturbance - Authorities assisted with a report that a woman’s sister was trying to break into the woman’s house on Younger Road in Lena. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of loud music and about 50 vehicles on property on Delcore Road in Oconto. Trucks were racing around the area. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of money taken from the fire department on Cardinal Road in Gillett. April 24 Deputies logged 23 incidents, including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a one-vehicle roll-over on Tar Dam Road in Mountain. Illegal Burn - Authorities investigated a report of a large brush pile burning on Sugar Bush Road in Lena. A burn ban was in effect. Tree Down - Authorities investigated a report of a tree down and on the road at County Road S in Little Suamico. Ambulance - Authorities assisted a 71-year-old man who might have overdosed on medication on Red Maple Lane in Townsend. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle pulling a trailer in the neighborhood of Allen Road and Twin Creek Road in Sobieski.
