Proceedings of Aug. 20 • Jeremy Lee Jackson, 41, Wausau, was sentenced to 20 months in prison, followed by two years of extended supervision, for driving a motor vehicle without consent and a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Dec. 10. • A charge of repeated sexual assault of the same child was dismissed against Travis R. Bolssen, 49, Weyauwega, on a prosecutor’s motion a day before a trial was scheduled to begin. • Brady L. Boucher, 30, Oconto, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of possession of amphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 25. Judge Michael Judge scheduled sentencing for Oct. 29 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Proceedings of Aug. 19 • Tyler J. Geurts, 36, Oconto, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision, for 16 counts of possession of child pornography, in connection with incidents that occurred March 8 and May 14, 2021. A jury found Geurts guilty at a trial in June. Judge Jay Conley scheduled a restitution hearing for Sept. 23. • Brad D. Coopman, 51, Townsend, was placed on two years of probation after Judge withheld sentencing for three counts of felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 15, 2023, and two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with incidents that occurred Aug. 3 and Aug. 4, 2023. • Bond was set at $15,000 cash for Anthony R. Mork, 33, Suring, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 16. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Sept. 12. • Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Dustin Eugene Kuss, 36, Oconto Falls, after he was charged with possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 15. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Sept. 12. • Bond was set at $750 cash for John F. Benser, 60, Gillett, after he was charged with possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 14. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Sept. 12.
