Proceedings of Sept. 20
• Skylarr S. Edwards, 29, Oconto, pleaded no contest Sept. 17 to battery or threat to a law officer, in connection with an incident that occurred July 9. Judge Michael Judge imposed and stayed a prison sentence, then placed him on three years of probation with conditions.
Proceedings of Sept. 19
• Michelle Lee Flynn, 37, Marinette, pleaded no contest to felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 13, 2023. Judge sentenced her to one year in prison, followed by two years of extended supervision with conditions.
• Jeremy W. Heise, 39, Suring, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to two counts of felony bail jumping and two counts of operating while revoked, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred May 21 and May 30, as well as two counts of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, three counts of felony bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug 6. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Oct. 17.
• Aaron John Husted, 38, Gillett, was found not competent to face three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting arrest, fleeing an officer in a vehicle, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct, bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 20. Based on the competency report, Judge ruled it is anticipated Husted will be able to regain competency, and he scheduled a status conference for Dec. 12.
• Richard Frank Rau, 65, Lakewood, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on two counts of battery or threat to a law officer, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of bail jumping, and criminal damage to property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 25, and two counts of felony bail jumping, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, a misdemeanor possession of THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 15. Judge scheduled arraignment for Nov. 7.
• Daniel W. Malchow, 40, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor counts of operating a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 30. Judge Jay Conley scheduled arraignment for Nov. 7.
• Dillon Steven Renard, 39, Green Bay, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of burglary, theft, taking a vehicle without consent, criminal damage to property, possession of burglarious tools and misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, receiving or concealing stolen property, possession of cocaine, possession of THC, resisting or obstructing an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 16. Online court records did not indicate whether arraignment was scheduled.
• Bond was set at $20,000 cash for Baldwin C. Framnes, 23, Gillett, after he was charged with second-degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 10. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Oct. 17.
• Bond was set at $20,000 cash for Stephen A Schwartzenberger, 32, Gillett, after he was charged with armed robbery and false imprisonment, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 13. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Oct. 17.
Proceedings of Sept. 18
• Robert R. Fredenburgh, 36, Mountain, was placed on three years of probation after Judge imposed and stayed consecutive prison sentences for sending a computer message that threatens injury or harm and domestic abuse disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred April 15. He was given credit for 157 days served in the county jail.
• Shannon M. Westphal, 45, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (first offense), in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 19, 2023. Judge withheld sentencing, placed her on one year of probation with conditions, and revoked her driver’s license for 15 months among other traffic penalties.
• Adam J. Martens, 31, Oconto, pleaded no contest to child abuse intentionally causing harm in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 10, 2023, and misdemeanor charges of battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 14, 2023. Conley approved a deferred judgment agreement for the felony charge and placed Martens on one year of probation with conditions for the misdemeanors.
• Kaitlyn L Torrez, 28, Tigerton, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor possession of THC, in connection with an incident that occurred May 27. The charge was amended from a felony count in a plea agreement. Conley withheld sentencing and placed her on one year of probation with conditions.
• A final pre-trial conference was held for Marty M. LaCourt, 35, Oconto, who is scheduled to stand trial Sept. 25-27 on a charge of second-degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 5, 2023.
• Emily Mae Born, 23, Shawano, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of methamphetamine, four counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and misdemeanor counts possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 6. Conley granted a motion to reduce her bond from $2,500 to $500 cash. Online court records did not indicate whether arraignment was scheduled.
• Bond was set at $750 cash for Javier Lashun Dixon, 31, Sobieski, after he was charged with disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse repeater, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 16. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Oct. 17.

• A jury trial was scheduled for Nov. 19-20 for Edward Alexander Lewis, 52, Oconto Falls, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, two counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 25, as well as previous charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, bail jumping, maintaining a drug trafficking place and misdemeanor possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 7, 2023. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Nov. 11.
• Adam J. Julius, 24, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on a charge of misappropriating ID information to avoid a penalty, along with misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of THC, possession of amphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 8. Conley scheduled arraignment for Oct. 17.
• Bond was set at $1,000 cash for James L. Valley, 39, Cecil, after he was charged with battery or threat to a law officer and misdemeanor counts of lewd and lascivious behavior, disorderly conduct and bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 14. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Sept. 30.
• Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Jamie J. Otradovec, 40, Suring, after he was charged with child abuse intentionally causing harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 13. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Oct. 17.
