• Clayton R. Frehse, 20, Suring, pleaded no contest to second-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 10, 2022; felony bail jumping, in connection with an Oct. 2, 2022, incident; and a misdemeanor theft charge, in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 22, 2022. Judge Michael Judge scheduled sentencing for Feb. 11 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• Judge Jay Conley ruled that Robert S. Presl, 44, an Oconto man serving time at Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, is currently not competent to assist in his defense on three counts of battery or threat to a law officer, one count of throwing or discharging bodily fluids at an officer, three counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 16. He scheduled a review for March 3.
• A Feb. 25 jury trial was scheduled for Shawn Michael Schoen, 47, Kaukauna, on a charge of theft by a contractor, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 16, 2020. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Feb. 11. District Attorney Hannah Schuchart said two plea offers were on the table.
• Pa Ying Xiong, 57, Green Bay, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 30. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jan. 16.
• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Jonathan Scott Chandler, 22, Denmark, after he was charged with aggravated battery intending bodily harm and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 7. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Jan. 16.
• Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Brett W. Nichols, 53, Oconto, after he was charged with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 8. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Jan. 16.

• Kayla Ardell Suvanto, 33, Shawano, pleaded no contest to two counts of felony bail jumping, and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 6. Judge sentenced her to the time she has already served in county jail since her arrest.
• Bruce D. Taylor, 32, Oconto, pleaded no contest to fleeing an officer in his vehicle, in connection with an incident that occurred March 4. Judge scheduled sentencing for Feb. 17 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
• Brett Joseph Bertrand, 43, Abrams, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to fleeing an officer in his vehicle and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 8, as well as felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of operating while revoked and possession of THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 24. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jan. 16.
• Tanya Ann Kamps, 50, Abrams, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and misdemeanor counts of possession of cocaine, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 6; as well as manufacture with intent to deliver amphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 5; and three counts each of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred Oct. 13, April 22 and June 5. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jan. 16.

• Kelly S. Urbanek, 61, Oconto, pleaded no contest to second-degree sexual assault of a child, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 23, 2023. Judge scheduled sentencing for March 24 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
• A bench warrant was issued for Paige B. Fox, 29, Peshtigo, after she failed to appear for a hearing on charges of misappropriating ID information to avoid penalty, possession of methamphetamine, driving or operating a vehicle without consent and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing and officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 3.
• A bench warrant was issued for Raymond Lawrence Pamanet, 21, Keshena, after he failed to appear for a court hearing on charges of fleeing an officer in his vehicle and a misdemeanor count of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 16.
• Cassandra Ann Braddock, 23, Keshena, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to misappropriating ID information to avoid penalty, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), two counts of child neglect and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 13. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Feb. 13.
• Daniel W. Malchow, 40, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty to first-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor counts of operating a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 30. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Feb. 13.
• Tyler C. Spice, 38, Lena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of strangulation and suffocation and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 16. Judge scheduled arraignment for Jan. 16.
• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Virginia M. Huycke, 39, Oconto, after she was charged with two counts of manufacture with intent to deliver amphetamine and two counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred June 27, 2023, and Sept. 13, 2023. She was already awaiting trial for two counts of possession of methamphetamine and two misdemeanor counts possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred May 25 and 26. After the latest charges, Huycke’s probation was revoked in a 2022 conviction for possession of methamphetamine. Judge scheduled a preliminary hearing for Dec. 20.
