A waiver preliminary hearing was held for William P. Allen, 60, Little Suamico, on felony charges of possession of child pornography (10 counts), which allegedly occurred Dec. 26, 2014, in Little Suamico. The court amended the $200,000 cash bond to $35,000 cash bond . An arraignment is April 24.
A waiver preliminary hearing/arraignment was held for Adam J. Kuczynski, 28, Oconto Falls. He pleaded not guilty to felony bail jumping, which allegedly occurred March 18 in Oconto Falls. The court set a $30,000 cash bond. A pretrial conference is May 19.
A plea hearing was held for Joseph F. Befay, 32, Gillett. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge of possession of THC (second-plus offense), which allegedly occurred Aug. 29 in the town of Gillett. A $200 cash bond continues. Sentencing is June 1.
A waiver preliminary hearing/arraignment was held for Samuel D. Stachura, 35, Sobieski. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of felon possession of firearms (two counts), possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Oct. 17, 2014, in Mountain. A $10,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is May 7.
An initial appearance was held for Dennis M. Heath, 58, Keshena, on a felony charge of sex registry violation and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred June 20, 2014, in Shawano. The court set a $10,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is May 7.
Proceedings from April 15
A waiver preliminary hearing/arraignment was held for Daniel W. Cornelius, 35, Crivitz. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of OWI (fifth or sixth with passenger under 16) and possession of methamphetamine, along with a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred March 15 in Oconto. A $20,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is May 7.
A plea hearing was held for Jennifer L. Fendryk, 31, Suring. She pleaded no contest to two counts of neglecting a child (consequence is great bodily harm), false imprisonment, child abuse-fail/prevent great harm and causing mental harm to child, from June 4, 2012, to May 23, 2013, in Breed. Six other charges were read in and dismissed. A $175,000 cash bond was revoked by the court. Sentencing is June 18.
Proceedings from April 13
An initial appearance was held for Brad A. Miller, 38, Pulaski, for felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse) and two misdemeanor charges. The court set a $5,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is May 7.
A sentence hearing was held for Blake E. Gewont, 39, Krakow. He pleaded guilty to two of four counts of failure to support October 2011 to May 2013 in Krakow. On count 1, he was sentenced to 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision. On count 2, he was sentenced to three years probation to run concurrent, with conditions that he obtain a GED, obtain and maintain full-time employment, pay child support as required, cooperate with the child support agency and maintain absolute sobriety. Count 3 and 4 were read in and dismissed.
An initial appearance was held for Megan M. Leathers, 36, Oconto, on charges of felony OWI (fourth within five years) and bail jumping, which allegedly occurred April 12 in Little River. The court set a $10,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is May 7.
A plea hearing was held for Brooks L. Polczinski, 21, Oconto Falls. He pleaded no contest to causing a child 13-18 to view sexual activity and fourth-degree sexual assault on or about Oct. 25 in Spruce. Other charges were read in and dismissed. One $5,000 cash bond was revoked and a second $5,000 cash bond continues. Sentencing is June 2.

An arraignment was held for Chad A. Renier, 32, Pound. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of sexual assault of a child under 16, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and exposing his genitals, which allegedly occurred Nov. 22 in Brazeau. A $50,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is June 11.
An arraignment was held for Christopher R. Link, 30, Oconto. The court entered a not guilty plea to felony charges of driving or operating a vehicle without consent, repeater, which allegedly occurred Jan. 16 in Pensaukee. A $2,500 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is May 7.
An adjourned initial hearing was held for Jarrad M. Boyd, 32, Shawano, on felony charges of child abuse intentionally causing harm, strangulation and suffocation, and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Jan. 16 in Gillett. A $5,000 signature bond continues. A preliminary hearing is May 19.
An initial appearance was held for Patrick J. Ragen, 60, Oconto, on felony charges of public assistance fraud/benefits, which allegedly occurred April 1, 2012, through Jan. 31, 2014, in Oconto. The court set a $2,500 signature bond. A preliminary hearing is June 12.
An initial appearance was held for Jacob W. Oestreich, 26, Oconto Falls, on felony charges of OWI (fourth within five years) and operating with prohibited alcohol concentration (fourth within five years), which allegedly occurred Jan. 27 in Oconto Falls. The court set a $750 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is May 7.
An initial appearance was held for Zada G. Diedrich, 22, Oconto, on felony charges of theft movable property ($2,500-$5,000), which allegedly occurred Dec. 25, 2014, and Feb. 14 in Oconto. The court set a $2,500 signature bond. A preliminary hearing is May 11.
Proceedings from April 8
A sentencing was held for Kyle K. Sydor, 25, Oconto, on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, May 8 in Oconto. The court amended the charge to recklessly driving causing great bodily harm. He was sentenced to one year, six months incarceration and two years extended supervision. Count 2, injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, was read in and dismissed. On count 3, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, he was sentenced to four years incarceration and four years extended supervision to run concurrent with his other sentence, with conditions of no driving any motorized vehicle for one year during probation and absolute sobriety. The court will allow Huber work release for good behavior.
A motion/plea hearing was held for Shawn L. Paholke, 34, Suring. He pleaded no contest to perjury before court and intimidation of a witness Sept. 8 and 16 in Oconto, two counts of false imprisonment, one count of causing mental harm to child, child abuse-recklessly cause harm, two counts of neglecting a child (consequence is great bodily harm) and physical abuse of a child from July 2012 to May 2013 in the town of Breed. A cash bond of $50,000 was revoked. Sentencing is June 19.
