Allen “Albert” P. Osterbrink, 70, of Eland, passed away on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at home, under the care of his family and St. Croix Hospice, after a long battle with cancer. Allen was born on Aug. 25, 1954, in Wausau, the son of Philip and Adalyne (Houf) Osterbrink. On Sept. 22, 1984, Allen was united in marriage to Marnie A.

William J. Lappen, 88, long-retired paper industry executive, local philanthropist and soon-to-be great-grandfather for the fourth time, died peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 31, surrounded by his family. Throughout his life, William cultivated the love of beauty in nature and love of birds and dogs.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred Henry Keith on Oct. 28, 2024, at the age of 89. Alfred was born on March 21, 1935, in Lena to Henry and Josephine Keith. Alfred attended Oconto Falls High School and St. Norbert College in preparation for his vast and ambitious career.

Patricia L. Petrich, 88, a resident of the Luther Home in Marinette, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 31, surrounded by her family. She was born May 23, 1936, to Joseph and Cecelia (Fisher) Eland in Menominee, Michigan, where she spent her early life. She graduated from Menominee High School and resided in the Marinette-Menominee area until moving to Gillett in 1982 upon her marriage to Merlin “Manny” Petrich.

Zech Felix passed away on Oct. 25, 2024, at the age of 29. He was the beloved son of Robert and Nancy Felix, and cherished brother to Anna, Charise, Daniella, Eric, Joel, Sarah, Sasha, their spouses and children. He enjoyed video games, music, art, riding his bike and was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witness Organization. While often reserved and quiet, his personality shined in his creative nature.

Donna M. Reinke (Mauel), 85, of Shawano, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, in Shawano. Donna was born in Neenah on July 31, 1939, daughter of the late Ervin and Erma (Schroth) Turkow. She was united in marriage to Richard Mauel on Sept. 5, 1959, and enjoyed many years together until his passing on Jan. 27, 1978.
