Wayne A. Waupoose

Wayne A. Waupoose, 41, of Denmark, died unexpectedly on June 2, 2014, in Shawano. Born on May 3, 1973, in Shawano, he is the son of the late Evelyn Kay Waupoose. Wayne was united in marriage to Nichole Justice on Oct. 6, 2006, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit. Wayne was a quiet, humble and honest individual who adored being the loving father to his two sons. His love of teaching was evident as he shared his knowledge of computers with those who attended his IT trainings at MITW, along with the computer classes he taught. Wayne recently discovered a love of fishing and was an avid Packers fan. Wayne is survived by his wife, Nichole; two sons, Ramone and Chubbs; a sister, Kathy Waupoose, of Neopit; a brother, Tony (Tracy) Waupoose, of Keshena; nieces and nephews, Mindy, A.J., Manih and Bryce Waupoose; great-niece, Kaylin; aunt, Edith Santerno, of Neopit; and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn; a brother, Anthony, in infancy; uncles, Melvin Waupoose, Francis “Pooch” Waupoose; an aunt, Mindy DuBois; his grandparents; and cousins, Stephen and Dana Waupoose. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O. Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Edith Santerno residence, 3640 N. 2nd St., in Neopit from 2 p.m. Wednesday until the procession leaves for the church on Friday.
