Mary Ann Hill, 84, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, in Shawano.
Mary Ann was born on July 14, 1930, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mabel (Shaker) Booth. Mary Ann graduated from Edward W. Sparrow School of Nursing in 1953. On Oct. 17, 1953, she was united in marriage to John W. Hill in Sault Ste. Marie. They lived in southern Wisconsin, Rockford, Illinois, and Dallas before moving to Shawano in 1993 after retiring.
Mary Ann served on the Board of Goldie Flowberg Home for crippled children in Rockford.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, John; one son, Mark (Ann) Hill, of Bainbridge Island, Washington; two grandchildren, Claire (Graham) Watts and Charlotte Hill, both of Seattle; and one brother, Denny Booth of Indian Wells, California.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church in Shawano with the Rev. Susan Phillips officiating, with spring burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
