Virginia E. Jones, 89, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, in Belle Plaine.
Virginia was born on Jan. 23, 1926, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Clara (Schneider) Lechmaier. Virginia was united in marriage to Orval E. Jones on June 18, 1949, in Waukegan, Illinois. Earl preceded her death on Dec. 20, 1975. She moved to the Shawano area in 1966 and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Virginia is survived by 12 nieces and nephews, including special niece, Kathleen (Richard) Senft, of Shawano.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval, her parents and two sisters.
Private memorial services were held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
Inurnment will be held on Aug. 1, 2015, at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
