Rodney G. Krull, 73, of Mercer, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. He was born July 22, 1941, to the late John and Luella (Gottschalk) Krull.
On Oct. 20, 1962, Rodney was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Peterson. She preceded him in death April 25, 2011. The couple lived in the Nichols area prior to moving to Mercer, where he built his dream house. He enjoyed time spent with his family, riding his Harley — completing his bucket list of traveling to all four corners of the United States — with his good friend Carol, fishing, ice fishing, carpentry and woodworking. He served proudly in the 101st Airborne Army Division.
He is survived by his son, Clifford (Kelly) Krull, Nichols; grandchildren, Savanna and Garret; brother and sister, James (Virginia) Krull, Audrey (Robert) Moeller; brother-in-law, David (Karen Hackelberg) Peterson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Krull and Shirley Krull; special friend, Carol Page. Also surviving are very special friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin, and brothers, Jack, Stewart and Terry.
