A Ms. Senior Homemaker Pageant will be held from 1-4 p.m. Thursday at the Shawano Lake County Park indoor pavilion, W5785 Lake Drive, Shawano.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be door prizes and snacks.
Seven contestants will compete in various categories to succeed the 2014 winner, Irma Timmons.
The 2015 contestants are Donna Delzer, Cecil; Arlene Kempen, Suring; Wanda May, Clintonville; Ellen Raddant, Shawano; Elsa Schick, Bonduel; Colleen Wicker, Suring; and one person who declined to be identified in the paper.
The categories are desserts, dress (a meaningful outfit, not glamour) and talent, multi-tasking (dishes, laundry, crying doll, telemarketer) and Miss America questions.
