Shawano Police Department Aug. 25 Police logged 26 incidents, including the following: Theft — Personal items were reported stolen from a garage burglarized in the 800 block of South Main Street. Suspicious person — An anonymous caller reported a man approaching children around Division and Main streets. Harassment — An apartment resident reported possible harassment by a neighbor in the 800 block of West Picnic Street. Shawano County Sheriff’s Department Aug. 25 Deputies logged 34 incidents, including the following: Traffic — A truck owner reported hit-and-run damage to the parked vehicle on Lake Drive in the town of Wescott. Animal — A girl was reported bitten on the face by a family dog on County Road E in the town of Washington. Clintonville Police Department Aug. 25 Police reported 10 incidents, including the following: Disturbance — A disturbance involving a male subject was reported at a residence on 10th Street. Animal — Multiple reports of a bear were investigated in the area around 20th Street and Main Street. Custody — A child custody issue was reported on Fifth Street.
