Oconto Falls High School will celebrate homecoming on Friday, Sept. 26, after a week of school spirit events.
Over the weekend, students decorated the halls of the high school. Student Council painted windows in the downtown area in the traditional themes of the homecoming celebration.
Each day during the week, students have opportunities to show their school spirit with the traditional dress-up days. Each day has a different theme, culminating on Friday with Orange and Black Day.
On Wednesday evening, the student council will run field games at the high school, followed by a bonfire at 8:15 p.m. The homecoming pep rally will start at 1:20 p.m. Friday in the field house at the high school. Following the pep rally, a parade will start from the fire station at approximately 2:20 p.m. and proceed down Cherry Avenue onto Main Street, Central Avenue and Wisconsin Street, ending at the high school.
The football game versus New London will be at Memorial Field, with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
The homecoming dance in the high school gym takes place from 8 p.m. until midnight Saturday, Sept. 27. The dance will be hosted by the Class of 2017 with the homecoming court selected from the senior class.
