Michael Hollis McDermid, son of Mathew McDermid and Brittany Steiner, died suddenly after premature birth Tuesday morning, Sept. 30, 2014, at a Green Bay hospital.
Besides his parents, he is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Mary McDermid, Oconto Falls; maternal grandparents, Scott (Robin) Steiner, Oconto Falls; Jodi Ann Steiner, Coleman; paternal great-grandparents, Vi McDermid and Shirley Beaumia; maternal great-grandparents, Bob and Judy Steiner, Ruby Hinkfuss; aunts and uncles, Steve (fiancee Lindsey Felt) McDermid, Julie (Jason) Kardoskee, Jenny (Chris) Stahl, Chad (fiancee Julie) McDermid, Chris Tisch, Alandriss (Douglas) Hobyan and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Michael C. McDermid, and paternal great-grandfathers, Neil McDermid, Mathew Lisowe and Robert Beaumia.
Private services were held at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls on Friday, Oct. 3. Burial alongside his paternal grandfather followed in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
